Ana Maria Cujba
Dr. Ana Maria Cujba is a Novo Nordisk Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Sarah Teichmann’s laboratory at the University of Cambridge, specializing in bioinformatics, single-cell, and spatial analysis. Her research focuses on human health and disease, particularly cross-tissue vasculature, the immune system, and in-vitro airway models.
She completed her PhD at King’s College London, studying monogenic diabetes with a focus on stem cells, pancreatic organoids, and genome editing. Before that, she earned an intercalated bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and immunology at the University of Aberdeen, including a year at GlaxoSmithKline, after moving to the UK from Romania to pursue her research career.
