An abstract of a scientific paper is a concise summary of the entire content of the paper and must fulfill certain essential characteristics in order to be considered complete and well-written.

A well-written abstract is essential to provide a quick understanding of the value of the research presented so what we want from your abstract are the following:

    1. Autonomy
    • The abstract should be complete enough to be understood without reading the entire paper.
    • Avoid references to figures, tables or literature cited in the paper.
    1. Academic language
